In an effort to catch the fall colors we arrived at Lockett Meadow one week too late The day before a hard freeze settled in the high country turning the Aspen trees surrounding the meadow into sheer white poles of beauty. Lockett Meadow is a pristine mountain meadow over 9,000 feet up a mountain near Flagstaff, Arizona
